    Hi IMBJ, I'm not in Japan but my son & grandsons live in the Bay Area and he has a friend who teaches in Tokyo. No word yet from her. I'm glad so glad the tsunami spared SF. I hope you and your B are okay!

    My Topper is 14 and even here in Florida he gets cold when the wind blows in winter. Eddie gets cold too, but Nicky could probably be out in freezing weather with no problem. I have sweaters I put on them when the temp drops and they seem much happier…but if they are not cold, they won't let me put them on! They are all older so not too active on our walks.

    I may take you up on that - if I can't get in where I typically stay and am familiar with. I've stayed in a couple of dives that I'd not care to return too. Seems like even if it's 'high' season - I should be able to risk waiting until I get there to see what the weather is like - I could go down to Fort Myers - I did that once before when it was too rainy and gloomy in Tampa area. I may just get one night somewhere certain and then just decide when I get there. Doesn't bother me much but hubby is a bit less willing to risk it.
