  • Ayos results have been posted PROBABLE CARRIER….. Its a strange feeling, beacuse although i am glad its not probable affected, i new that it wasnt supposed to be, but i was hoping it could be clear. Will start strip testing next year... in general happy it is not worst... I am confident he will be fine...

  • Good results! :) And kudos to you for starting strip testing next year. Kipawa will either be clear or carrier. I'm going to send away for the test soon.

  • Strip testing is a good idea.
This is what my 3 b's came back as…

You hope. Please remember the test is linkage, not clear genetic. While your chances are VERY good for clear or carrier, keep in mind that isn't 100 percent sure.

Congratulations, that is great! Ayo sounds like he's doing well. Keep the updates coming. It's great that he's gaining weight. We would love to see some pics of Ayo with some meat on his bones.

My first thought was "Great! None of her dogs will develop Fanconi." But as a non-breeder I forget that the carrier status complicates your life when it comes to making breeding decisions. Good luck and I really applaud all of you breeders who care because we all know that there are those who don't care and therefore refuse to find out Pat.
