Do you ship your Basenjis: Depending on situationMimi was a spur of the moment decision to help out a fellow breeder that has pancreatic cancer. I offered to take a puppy and place it for her. I started show-training her and she was in a few shows.
However, her Fanconi results were not as favorable as I'd hoped, so I am looking for another home for her sooner than planned.
She does well with all dogs and while shy at first with strangers, she is sweet and cuddly once she warms up to them.
She is looking for a forever home where she will be with another Basenji [or any canine] companion.
She had befriended a Pomeranian and has no issues with small fluffy dogs. I have no doubt she would be fine with kitties. She is beta to all dogs… even intact bitches. Being kennel-raised, she didn't have any socialization until coming to my house at 5 months of age.
