    @agilebasenji: all i can think of is "hungry, hungry hippo" anyway, congrats on his first point. did you get a pic? We sing that to him a lot ;) We also call him "Hippo-Dippo" which seems to fit ;) I did get a pic, and hopefully it will be good enough to post :)

    @lvoss: The International shows are the ones that give written evaluations. Though the UKC judges that I have shown to have been pretty approachable and willing to share what they see in a dog. UKC also has a pretty cool Juniors Program where kids can start as young as, I think, 3 years old with their parent in the ring with them as they show their dog. I would highly recommend giving them a try and it is even better if you can go with a friend. Ethan would LOVE that!

    @lvoss: If you can find a copy, I would recommend trying to get a hold of a copy of the Basenji Stacked and Moving by Robert Cole. They are no longer in print and can get quite expensive but every so often you can luck upon a copy that is reasonably priced.     Oh, I would love to see him in the Specials - unfortunately, our cousin, without reading the Events Calendar, can you imagine :eek: - decided to get married this weekend so we will miss the Palm Springs shows. How inconsiderate of her, LOL But I hope to see Deb at the club meeting; she'll have big brags! Terry
