Icey, welcome to this forum and the world of basenji ownership I sometimes refer to as Basenji hell!! He looks B. to me!!! It sounds like he acts like a B. too!!
Good thing is he found you and you found us!!
To paraphrase an old adage, If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it must be ….a Basenji:eek:

Those are definitely basenji traits! Could be a b-husky mix…b's are happy to "mix". Welcome, love to see the photos and hear stories.

BRAT is Basenji Rescue and Transport (www.basenjirescue.org)). Its a national basenji rescue, I'm sure if you search this forum you will find people talking about them. I think they are a great organization and I love volunteering for them. They have volunteers that screen and do home visits for potential adopters, evaluate basenjis coming into rescue, foster, transport B's to new homes, etc. If you want to help they can always use more volunteers, just check out their website!
