@KhaiPan Pam and I are both stubborn opinionated people and without mutual respect, we'd be in constant battle. Instead, I love her. I watch her utter devotion to the dogs, to doing things right, to helping anyone who needs help. She isn't stuck in any idea... given proof and research, she'll reconsider. She is calming. 🙂 Knowing you have someone personally in your corner navigating this helps a lot. Glad you contacted her.
Fanconi linked test in Europe
-
It is now possible for people in Europe to test their B without sending blood to America.. A company in Helsinki, Finland, does the Fanconi test as well.

Thnx ! I forwarded the link immediately to my breeder:)

If you read carefully, the company in Helsinki is NOT doing the test. They are prepping the DNA and taking care of shipping to the US for testing at the Missouri lab. You still MUST regsiter your dog with the Canine Phenome Project and complete the DNA submission form to send with your sample to this lab.

And the write up on the site is a bit misleading regarding the CPP site that is says you "should" register and it should say you "must" ….
I would be afraid that people will have samples sent in and never get results because they were not signed up on the CPP site

Yes, I have heared about that, but to be honest, I will send the blood samples directly to the US as it is not done in Finnland but they extract the genetic info and send it to America. So I can send the blood as well…. same time, even less expences....
