They are adorable 🙂
Watson always gets identified as some sort of terrier. He has been a rat terrier and a toy fox terrier…
I seen a documentary on what I believe was The National Geographic channel on the Basenji breed, where breeders from USA went to Africa for B's to add to the existing gene pool. Does anyone know where I can find a dvd or video on this documentary?
I don't know about National Geographic but there was a Breed All About It episode on Basenjis on Animal Planet that included what you are talking about. The episode is no longer being offered for sale by Discovery Channel.
Yes I did see the Breed all About It episode, very informative on the breed. But I was wondering if there was a dvd that was all about the african project. Thanx I'll keep searching the net for it.
There are some short clips from National Geographic with basenjis.

Also there is a DVD that was made several years ago about the African Stock Project but I am not sure that it is still available. I think Jon Curby might be the person to contact about it.
Pat, doesn't Rose Marie have something she is sharing with other folks?
Is that what these folks are looking for?

Sorry, I wouldn't get anything from her… as far as I know she is making copy DVD's of protected videos (copywrited). And she doesn't have the Af DVD from Jon. I think he would need to be contacted directly.
Jon Curby is listed in the BCOA Breeder's Directory. He is the first listing for MO, http://www.basenji.org/PUBLIC/BreederDirectory.htm
