Hello, may name is Claudia and since informations about the basenji in Germany is very poor, I´m glad about this community.
I´m thinking of adopting a basenji but first of all want to make shure that I can handle it´s "special needs".Almost 10 years ago I adopted Andy, a male x-breed, from Malta. The two of us still have a lot of fun with agility.
Trying to get informations about basenjis and agility here in Germany was " forget about it". So I tried to get more detailed esperiences.Please excuse my english. I hope it´ll improve post by post.

Are you near Sindelfingen? (I think that is the right spelling)… there is a Basenji owner/breeder that lives there (and is a member of the Basenji Club of America) that would be glad I am sure to talk to you about Basenjis and maybe you could even visit her. You can contact me privately for her name and email address by going to my website (www.tanzabasenjis.net) and sending me an email.

Yes !!! Sindelfingen ( correct spelling, very good job ; my doggy would get a "click" and treat :rolleyes: ) is almost round the corner.
