    I have tried to bring my B to other houses with dogs but she tends to not get along with them. Or the fact that my B has so much energy the other dogs have enough and mine just won't stop. Do anyone have any suggestions? It will take my dog at least an hour and a half to settle down.

    If they are outside it is usually OK but to bring the dogs inside it becomes very territorial. My dog usually causing the issues.

    can you describe exactly what her behavior is? This will help to give suggestions. Have you but her through any obedience training?

    The more exercise you can give the dog, the better she will be. Walk her at least an hr 2 times a day…
    A basic obedience class is also required to help her learn her manners.

    Rojer, wth? fipronil and methoprene (the ingredients in FRONTLINE, btw) are to kill fleas, it is not a FOOD for dogs and does not help hair and nourish the bones of the dog.

    Thanks for all of the great ideas. I will go to the limited time for feeding and may start to mix in a little wet good as well. I have begun some train with her but was told I have to wait for all of her shots to take her to obedience classes. She has her third set this monday and then the last ones in three weeks. I have almost got her to sit, she does it if she knows I have a treat but struggles if I just come out of the blue and tell her to sit. We're working on it.

    See, that's why I have no problem recommending Jumoke to potential Basenji owners {slaves, whatever}. Everything is so thorough. After talking more w/Bryan, I am in the process of switching Jazzy to Eukanuba low-fat diet because he felt that while she was getting enough puppy chow to maintain a healthy weight, she was not getting chow every day to fulfill her nutrient requirements. {she has a tendency to chunk up, and he was unaware of the quantity of food she ate each day}. He did the research for me, and recommended the food that he feels will most benefit her – and she likes it. She is getting Pet-Tabs also. I'm glad the question came up because otherwise I would have never gotten around to discussing her diet w/him. So, a big Thank you to Bryan for all his hard work, and also to whoever it was that posted the original question and got the discussions going!
