  • @basi:

I am in Germany so the same time as you, I hope that is what you meant.

    Yes.., okay, thanks!!:)

  • @Basje:

    Okay, thanks :)

I had searched for a long time, to find a good forum, but i never got a respond, and i'm stil waiting for a confirmation for another forum, that doesn't coming, so i searched along and i find this forum.
It is in English, but i hope everyone will understand me , and i hope to understand everyone.

And of course to learn a lot about the Basenji.

Welcome! We are happy to have you here; and your English is very good :)

If there's ever anything we say that you do not understand, just ask us to repeat or re-phrase it. I think most here will try very hard to make sure you have no problems communicating.

I think you'll learn a lot about Basenjis here – the good and the bad!

    Again, welcome!

  • Welcome to the forum, this is the best place to learn about the breed and build great friendships with lots of support when you get your dog

  • Welcome to the Forum, your english is better than mine!:D

Great dogs, great people, great fun.;)

  • Thanks!! Everyone!!

  • Welcome to our forum – don't worry about your english.
This is a great place to learn about basenjis and read about their funny personalities. You'll get addicted to the photos though :)

  • Welcome! Its neat to see so many people from all over the world here. It seems there are quite a few from Europe…are basenjis more common there than in America?

I'm not sure that it is they are more common here, basenjis as a whole are not a popular dog. I think it's more just who stumbles upon the site and this is the first real active forum that I know about, actually I only know of one other basenji forum and it's not that active.

  • Hope you find this site favorable, there are some great Basenji slaves here, haha!!!! Basenjis are a wonderful breed of dog, but they do take patience, and understanding. My B, Sahara, drives me crazy at times, but I wouldn't give her up for a MILLION dollars. So, again, welcome to our forum.

  • Welcome! This is a great forum to gather information on. Im sure you will be able to find the answers to many questions you may have along with some "b" friends.

Thank you for adopting this beauty. She looks so much like my first basenji.

Bungwa has a very dry mouth and I only managed to get a very tiny white patch on the test card but it was still sufficient to do the test with that. It only turns white when it's dry - the instructions are quite explicit. Of course as Pat says it could be a bad test form.

Welcome and kudos to you for helping with rescues! It sounds like Kowboy was a great introuction to the breed. I'm sorry for your loss of him and Indy. this is a great place to share and keep memories alive. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a speedy relocation back to your family in CA!

I live near the mountains in Colorado. There are some great trails with open space all around to let thme run around. Gosh I'm so jealous!! We don't have any plasce we could let our pooches loose. I would love a big open space sans any basenji prey :) that way they'll come back
