Nice, they are about in a few different adverts, I spot them every now and again.
Pearmund Vineyards

Redmund sounds like he's very feisty, and looks that way from the first pic
-
I am so glad that you got to go to Pearmund's and that you took pictures to share with us, those are great.
Redmund is a handsome looking fellow! The first pic reminds me of when Zahra is not liking something and she does that warning noise.
-
Actually, he's a pretty sweet dog. Probably mischevious, but I was able to handle him like he was my own. I imagine he sees LOTS of people come and go.. I think in that particuliar picture, I caught him at the tail end of a lip smack.
Like my Tucker, Redmund didn't seem to want to pose for any pictures.
The friend I went with was still at the counter tasting wine while I was holding Redmund and getting pictures. The lady offering the tastings whispered to my friend…"Basenji owners are WEIRD!".

That's right MBBB special indeed, this forum is loaded with them….People and B's.

Thanks for sharing the photos, they are great! We were wondering what Redmund looks like in real life… Now I guess we are going to have to try the vine.
-
As someone stated earlier, Pearmund's has got to be loving this forum I know there are a few of us who ordered the Redmund's Reserve just to get the wine bottles with the Basenji's on them! LOL!
-
Yes, they were familiar with what has been going on.
If you are ordering, I would suggest the White for those who prefer your wine a bit on the dry side and the Red for those who prefer a sweeter wine. The red has a strong raspberry flavor to it but finishes a bit dry (but not too much). They served it chilled and it was quite excellent. I, personally, preferred the red because I prefer sweeter wines. However, although the white is on the drier side of wine character, it was still appealing to even me as it wasn't VERY dry.
They also have about 10 other wines that were good as well and afforded a wide range of tastes, but most of them were on the drier side, IMHO. They have a Reisling that I really wanted to try, but they are out of stock. Must be good.
The lady you see in the background on the bottom two pictures is the one who called us 'weird'. Obviously drinks a LOT of wine…

We visited Pearmund shortly after the article appeared in The Basenji. Kind of cool to be met at the door by a basenji. We did some tasting and left with a few bottles of wine too. When we left Redmund was wandering among the tables outside scarfing snacks and soaking up the attention

great pictures!

I am so jealous! I want to meet Redmund!! I went to Wegman's off 28 and they didn't have his wine there. I was really bummed! Especially because we went on Christmas Eve and braved the sheriffs directing traffic in and out of the grocery store!
-
Karen and Chuck who have the SoCal Basenji Rescue were just so tickled when their wine arrived. They had never heard of this winery or anything about Redmund. Now I'm going to have to have a couple more bottles sent to them because I don't think they're going to drink the two I sent but keep them! I've given a few bottles to friends, and they all want to keep them! Everyone just loves the story of Redmund and the label. My next order is going to have to be a little larger I hope they don't run out!
-
I ordered 4 sets of the red & white for Ruby (seeing as she is red & white she can't just give out red or just white :D) to give out as New Year's presents (although, like a dope, I should have ordered a 5th set for myself )…they arrive today.
Super nice people at the winery and very easy to order. They thought it was great that Ruby was giving them out as presents :D. Now I need to design & print the gift cards...

Seems to me the forum has done wonders for their Wine sales. Pretty cool.:)

BWAAAAAHHHH HA HA HA HA HA HA…THAT IS HYSTERICAL!!! Yup I agree we ARE a weird bunch lol! So are our dogs
C3PO & TOPAZ gave their trainers Redmunds wine for Xmas. They absolutely loved it! One of the trainers won't even open it b/c she wants to keep the pic of her basenji forever. How sweet!
Thanks for sharing Tucker's dad

We stopped at Wegman's just before going to the vineyard as well, to see if they had the wine. Harris Teeter DOES have their wine, but not the "Redmund's Reserve". Matter of fact, we stopped as several places to check on it, including Total Beverage and if they did have Pearmund's wine, they only had their standards and noone carries the Reserve.
If you were at Wegman's, you were only about 25 minutes from the vineyard. It's worth the visit.

We're definitely going to have to make a trip this year!

There is no more wine in the world. me and goober drank it ALL!
