@julia87 How much do you know about Basenjis? Have you met any? It's highly recommended to learn as much as possible about them before making a decision to acquire one. This would be a good place to start.

In May 2022 we adopted an almost 2 yo dog from a shelter. They thought he was Corgi/Jack Russell mix.When I woke up with in the middle of the night to an "air raid siren" I started researching Basenjis. Most of him fits

Welcome to the group! My downstairs neighbor has recently lodged a complaint about "weird siren sounds" coming from our apartment LOL happy to have another siren dog here!
