United Kennel Club (UKC) now has a Basenji breed parent club

I've just seen on FaceBook a new group dedicated to the American Basenji Club, which is the breed parent club for UKC.

Actually we will (American Basenji Club) be applying to become the Parent Club for Basenjis within UKC, as of now we are an approved breed club "Basenjis" within UKC

Okay I am confused. Why isn't there a British Basenji Club (and there isn't, I looked!)

That's really sad we have to have an AMERICAN club to fill the gap, but kudos to those doing it!

Oh Pat, for crying out loud, cause I obviously need a combination of more sleep and caffeine I saw UK and thought United Kingdom.

My daughter says I don't have to look for a nursing home, they're looking for me some days. :) I'd delete my post but it's pretty funny so I won't.
