WTB puppy orange/white in the northeast PA

    Hello.

    This my first post. I don't know what to do to get a puppy. Seems like they are all for sale in the winter time.

    I want this puppy to propose to my girlfriend. She is in love with basenjis because of her dog she grew up with was basenji/pity mix.

    A puppy with a nice diamond on the collar should result in a yes. Lol :-)

    Any advice is appreciated!

    Glad things are settling down for you. Now is a great time to get on breeders puppy lists. Go to the Basenji Club and contact breeders in states close enough for traveling to. If you're interested in a bit older, be sure to ask if they have any or know of another breeder who may have gotten a puppy back that didn't work out. Good luck in your search.

    As most basenjis are born in Dec, you are very unlikely to find a 2 month old at this time of yr, but you could get on waiting lists for this years breedings.

    @Janneke: I would just LOVE LOVE LOVE to add a Basenji, but I study.. I would like to have some time off when the new pup is here, so it should come here like.. NOW (my vacation of 9 weeks just started :D).. Haha.. As we all now, B's get puppies when I'm in the middle of my 'school year'.. Ugh.. I have some nice breeders on my list :D ;) Your Shmi is also from Sweden right? Tillo is as well :) But we are going very 'off topic' in Fibula's thead. Sorry for that Fibula!!     Please make sure the puppies you sell are clear of fanconis. Its an awfull illness and no one wants to have a sick dog.

    I think they're trying to look legit! Knowing that most "ethical" breeders ask a good amount for our dogs (course mind you we have a lot of money stuck into our dogs prior to the "sale" price). And the fact that we're not into dogs to make money.
