    Happy Holidays all! Out pup was bien a few weeks ago, on December 2, just outside Paris, France. My fiancee and I will be moving from Montreal, Canada to Limoges, France in a few days, and will be picking her up around the first week of February. Elsza is the name we've given her. Attached are some of the pics we've received so far.

    I look forward to reading up on the forum topics and getting to know the breed better.

    @jalex Well, Welcome back home to NJ. I got some nice doggy coats from an online store Dover. Made just like a horse blanket so they don't slip to the side when the dog is doing a B500 run. There is a Dover store in Del Hockessin that lets you take your pup in for try on if you are not into measuring. I got a nice rain coat and a good heavy winter blankie for my girl. Regular doggy stores have lots of cute sweaters. Not sure about the boots. Lost my Basenji girl a year ago so never had a chance to try the boots. I think a fellow made them for his dogs. Will try to get the link and see how he goes about it. If I find out I will pass it along.

    @Rita: Pat yes we did get Jaycee's AKC application at the time we got her. Have not got cert back yet as we were really slow in her name made us slow in mailing. Rita Jean Great, it would be good if you gave Sally W the information for her website to update the pedigrees. Many of us rely heavily on the pedigree site when thinking about breeding and researching dogs…. You can do contact Sally at Zande Basenjis (just do a seach for her website and drop her an email with the info)....
