@ashmoore92 I have 2 outside cats that seek out my Basenji for play when we are outside. But they do his and slap at Simba when he is being to rough or have had enough. The biggest issue I have had is when they run away. As others have said he wants to chase them when they run. Making sure he doesn't follow them over the fence.
Even though they are outside cat's and have plenty of room to get away. I kept Simba on a leash for several months during any interaction with the cats. He plays rough with them still but gets put in his place when it's needed.

@kembe thanks for sharing this link. I will be getting my Simba something from there. Because nothing I find local really works for long.

Maybe a Basenji and Fiesta mix. Looks just like my neighbors dog. :)

@tanza Tanza I know. You and I talked about it after I got my first Basenji last year.

@debradownsouth Dayna Johnson told me that her dogs were all Fanconi clear. But the puppy that I got from her is a carrier of the Fanconi Disease. It's not a big deal since he won't be breeding. But she was not honest about her dogs.
The Basenji I got from her is turning out to be a good dog. But I would highly recommend that anyone that has gotten a Basenji puppy from her be tested for Fanconi.

I hope you have better experience with your Bassett Hound from Harmony Hounds than I have had with them and my Basenji Pup i got from them.

@tanza he isn't in a crate with any other dog. He hasn't gone in the house or on furniture in months. As I said I am pretty sure he marking his territory. He didn't do it anymore once he he figured out that she was going to be there every day.

My Male Basenji has peed on my bed and the spare bedroom bed. Where my nephew sleeps when he is in town. I am pretty sure he was marking though. I was keeping a 2 yr old female child at the time and she had been asleep in both beds. And he peed in the spots she slept. But he has not done it since. Vet said he would grow out of it. But I don't know if he grew out of it. Or just got used to the little girl being here.

Simba was supposedly in a litter of 4. I have a picture of the litter registration form. I know that another of the puppies is supposed to be in Northern Alabama. But that's as much as I know.
I will look into getting the kit next week. I will post results once I know.

Yes I will be checking into doing that next week. I really appreciate all the help and information from everyone.
