    I just received the blue cover book by Veronica Tudor Williams. It is so cool. Loose in the back of the book is a black and white photo of a dog that appears to be red and white with unusual markings and an almost straight tail. Written on the back of the pic is Lady Ka and Ba $75. I looked the dog up in the Zande database and this dog is listed!! The date is 18 August 1952. Does anyone out there know whose dog this was?

    @mvdperez We run the air all the time, keeping it under 70. It's cooling off some so he's fine. She is under the covers because we keep it cold. He goes out early morning, quick midday, then longer in the evening. We keep his coat stripped down. I have no idea if it will get cold enough to get a winter coat. It's not generally COLD here.

    Cleopatra is 7 years old now. Her job is to press against me to keep me grounded and get me out of dark areas with people. She'll start licking to help me when I start stimming and get shaky. If the depression is bad she comes and sits near me and cries. Some days I can go without her but others she stays near me and goes where I go.

    In the video, I do see a lot of basenji traits, but who know... some mixes look like nothing they are really related to. Some basenjis, espec mixes, can be quite large.

    my roommie is allergic to dogs, and he only has a problem with my B when he wears short sleeves and plays rough, he gets a little rash for 30 minutes. other than that, there is not one problem with sneezing or anything else.

    I used to always take Senji with me to the nursing home where my grandmother stayed for 1 1/2 years before she passed away. They allowed people to bring pets in to visit. Senji knew exactly where grandma's room was, even though it was down at the end of the hall. He also liked to jump into bed with grandma's roommate, who was a middle-aged stroke patient. He never got snarky or nippy at any of the other residents. It's like he knew they were old and disabled. The only time he's act up would be when he'd encounter the resident cat. :D
