I can attest that MY basenji is very different from a basenji at a show….. Not at all capable of being responsible enough to
be around that commotion....also, basenjis (to me) seem especially in tune to other dogs not keen on them...neutral ground and slowly are probably a good idea
Training Levels

With so many people bringing home new pups and dogs, I thought I would post this link to the Training Levels book. My obedience instructor uses levels training in her class and the basenjis are doing really well at them. I like that the exercises are well written and something you can do on your own at home. For new puppies and dogs I really recommend reading Come, Crate, Go to Mat, Zen (Leave It), Handling, and Watch.
