I cannot imagine committing to buy a puppy without seeing the animal and if possible the sire and dam. OTOH, a rescue (or adoption of an older dog) is a different thing. My last two Basenjis came to me sight unseen, and turned out to be wonderful dogs, but the breeders I got them from wanted to place their dogs in an experienced Basenji home, and I only paid the cost of getting the dogs to me. One came by air, one was personally transported to me by his breeder. If she hadn't been happy with what she found I expect she would have taken him back with her when she left. I also had to commit to return him if ever I couldn't keep him. Good breeders care about where their dogs end up.

My big black monster
He is on a diet… he is a big to heavy (he is almost as high as the Basenji's but he can't be the same weight haha)
A hour ago while I was making dinner he came running to me.. MIAAAAUWWWW (in human language: mommmyyy I'm hungry!!!)
So I took some kibble samples for cats and every minute or so I shoot one piece of kibble into the living room (don't play with your food huh?)
After a while, Spaiky was "hunting"at his kibble and ran across the room over and over again..
Result:
A large ammount of kibble all over the floor... underneath the furniture, dogpillows etc..
When we go into the harbor about an hour and we "move" to our lower living level the B's can have the time of their lives..

Glad to hear from you again. Thanks we're still waiting to sell the ship (the crisis in holland still goes on so it can take a while) but getting more and more into the Ostriches and Germany.
It's sad but we can't do anything more than wait..
