Hello,
I'm so glad I found this forum. We own two Basenjis, Gotti a four yr. old male who is the most laid back Basenji I have ever met (actually a bit boring at times!) and Jenny who is 9 mos. and has been with us for the grand total of four days. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions about puppy behavior as Gotti was 2yrs. old when he joined our family. We have owned Basenjis in the past but its been 14 years since we've had a puppy. Jenny is doing pretty good so far, just a few accidents each day and refusing to go out in the rain (we live in Oregon) but hopefully she will catch on soon. I'll try and post photos soon. -

We got both dogs as well as our others (now deceased) from Tazamisha Kennels.

Welcome to the forum! It's interesting when you haven't had a puppy in a long time. I hadn't had a B puppy since 94 and I just got Buddy in May and I was like " wow, it's been a long time since I've had a puppy. I forgot how rambunctious they can be. You get used to adult Bs. Post some pictures when you can.
