Basenji Club of Northern California Specialty Shows

For anyone in the No. California or any visitors that will be in the area (DASH!!!) BCONC Specialty shows will be October 16th and 17th at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, Ca. Followed by Del Valle All breed shows on the 18th and 19th….

Our Specialty show on Friday the 16th will most likely start around 1pm. On Saturday we will have Puppy and Veteran Sweeps in the morning starting around 10am and followed by the regular show starting about 11:30 or so.
We will be in ring #21 also known as "The Knoll"

Good luck to you all! Maybe one year we will come and visit!

We are very excited!! I haven't been to CA in at least 10 years. I love San Fran. We will be busy touring the city and doing all the touristy stuff but I am so happy we will be able to get our B fix as well.

And a BIG B fix at that…gggg
Looking forward to meeting you....lvoss will be there also and Vanessa (other half of the Forum owner)....

Hope you all have a good time at the Specialty - this has been a tough year for specialties with low entries so I hope that all who live in the area will take the time to enter and show up for the show.

People work hard to put these things on - we should thank them with our entries.

We have great entries ….. Friday we have 4 pts in dogs and 5 pt majors in bitches, same for Saturday and then for Sunday's Del Valle All Breed show.. Monday's Del Valle All breed is 3pts for dogs and 4pts for bitches.

Friday we will be starting at 1pm, Saturday at 10am with Puppy Sweep and the Veteran, followed by the regular classes...

Hope to see some of you there!!!!

We will definately be there this morning!! What a great town this is!! We can walk right to the downtown. Love it!!

And congrats Vanessa & Alex on Kiya's result on Saturday! 😃

She looks great… you would never know she is going to be 10 in December.... had she been entered in Breed and not Veterans...

By the way for all others, our Best of Breed is also the dam of Vanessa's Kiya

How many basenji's are at specialty shows I have never been. I went to a small dog show in southern california and I think there were only 12 basenjis. My B and I had a nice time watching the show.

We had over 60 Basenjis for our Specialty weekend.
