As long as the cat keeps well out of the dog's way ! Most learn to do that pretty soon after the Basenji arrives - I have seen a Basenji shaking a cat, much like you would a feather duster.

PLEASE visit www.basenjirescue.org and take a look at the current purebred basenji rescues availiable and ready for forever homes. We offer transport options where volunteers are availiable. I just recently flew a dog from Texas to Toronto, A plane ticket for $220.00 bought the dog climate controlled in cabin flight, and the adoption was a success. Please email me if you have any questions! BENDA4BRAT@YAH0O.COM

LOL agile, Sayblee did yodel for me but much more for the spousal unit. Arwen doesn't do it at all and at 8 not likely to happen. Cara has had one almost yodel. :( She does musical yawns a lot though, and barks. Well more like boofs.

If you go to www.evergreenbasenjiclub.org and check on the speciality, left hand side of the page, it will give you details re the basenji weekend..the first weekend in Aug.;) Also check out the EBC site…they have lots of fun things through the year. Send them a note and tell them want your intested in. A very nice, welcoming group of great basenji folks...
