    Dallas and Nina,

    Just wanted to check in to see if you got your basenji buddy gift yet? I had some major problems this last winter finally winding up with a broken ankle (slip and fall accident). ACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So just checking in with you to make sure you received it because I really wanted to send you a nice gift and thank you for the great cookies and toys you sent to Beegin and Brady. The stegosaurus was awesome!

    Agree with Agile, will be thinking of you. Pressure wounds are hard to heal and difficult to prevent. Hope Darrell can get the surgery sooner!

    HAHAHA…CUTE! I need to show this to my vizsla, maybe he'll learn how to cover himself instead of standing next to me whining until I get up and raise the covers for him. Yes, he has me trained well.

    Hi IMBJ, I'm not in Japan but my son & grandsons live in the Bay Area and he has a friend who teaches in Tokyo. No word yet from her. I'm glad so glad the tsunami spared SF. I hope you and your B are okay!

We have no snow, no sleet, but it is cold..about 35 and let me tell you, that is cold in Houston… Hope y'all have a great morning with lots of goodies, gifts and relaxing time with you families.. Petra and Otis..the giftwrapping paper eating basenji...and lets not forget about the bows..

    I may take you up on that - if I can't get in where I typically stay and am familiar with. I've stayed in a couple of dives that I'd not care to return too. Seems like even if it's 'high' season - I should be able to risk waiting until I get there to see what the weather is like - I could go down to Fort Myers - I did that once before when it was too rainy and gloomy in Tampa area. I may just get one night somewhere certain and then just decide when I get there. Doesn't bother me much but hubby is a bit less willing to risk it.
