Chafuko in Wijchen (nl)

  • :D

Today we had a show in Wijchen, with Chafuko the brindle one.
Buana and Hailey were also there but didn't show today.

9 B's, two in the youth class and chafuko went best youth male!!!!
He got his second point for dutch youth champion (needs only one now)

Then for best male and the judge picked chafuko!!!!!! :)

We were all soooo happy!! He got also a CAC for dutch champion

Then, he had to walk against the best female and he won again!!!

Our Chafuko went BOB!!!!!!! out of 9 B's!!!!!:D

This afternoon he had to come back for the group judging, I think there were a 20/30 bob dogs and we didn't think he would be picked out.
The judge chose 7 dogs and Chafuko was one of them!!!!!!

Chaffie became 3th best in group today!!!!!!!!

He got a very large bag of dogfood (we're bringing that to the dog shelter, because we don't feed that sort food) and a big cup!!!!
He also is invited to the Dog of the year show for Dutch showdogs!!!!
All Dutch placed dogs, from 1 to 3th in group are invited!
    :D
Were soooooo happy and didn't expect this at all!!!!

  • Congratulations to you and Chafuko

  • Congrats! That's great!! Lovely Chaffie :D
One point to go and than you have to leave the youth class :p ;) (just kidding of course :D)

  • we need pics!

    congrats

  • Wow, that is really wonderful. Chafuko had quite a day! Congratulations to you!

  • How fabulous for you and Chafuko!

  • @Janneke:

Congrats! That's great!! Lovely Chaffie :D

hihihi, well, when he got his last point, we don;t stay in youth class. I think it's not nice to stay longer because there are more B's who want to get their point and don't like if Chafuko is also in the ring when he already got them..
I don't know when he gets his last point, the judge has to deside and who knows who he picks out to be best!
    There is great/beautifull competition!!!!
And if we loose from tillo.. I don't mind!:D

    @agilebasenji:

    we need pics!

    congrats

    :( don't have any…. I got a job as side-handler...
There was a B- breeder and all allone, during the show I walked the whole time with some B's in my hand :D and at the end with a beaultiful Cirneco...

And in the big ring at the end of the day my cam said "there's a fault in the memory card.." I was sooo angry...

I've tried bait and no bait in the ring. I think bait works better for Logan, but not for me. He likes it and responds to it well, but as a new handler it's a pain in the butt. I know what I'm expected to do. Doing it once in the ring is hard. I get caught up in the minute and then forget what I'm supposed to do the next. I once stacked Logan backwards on the table. D'oh! Logan is SUPER food driven and he knows if I have cookies in my pocket. That's all he'll pay attention to. Jumping on the handler is frowned upon. Yes, I know training and time will cure it. Not there yet. Too many hobbies. Showing, breeding, MGBs, stereos, astronomy, motorcycles, family, friends, travel, house, etc. I need more time.

Thank you Kim! Yes we are very proud :o) And a special thank you to her breeder Judy Brader, Thor Basenjis, VA, USA. We are so very greatful for our half African princess she is so beautiful and she is so very sweet, we couldn?t ask for more :o) Also a big congratulations to Chafukos Fanconi test coming back Clear! I am sorry I didn?t get the results at the specialty, but as usual on a show my head was elsewere… I am hoping the club will announce the results soon.
