Yes, I know that, however there has been times when they have not because the breeder uses a kennel situation… which Terri does... and I don't believe that is BRAT's choice to decide or the person giving up the dog. Just an opinion... and an observation from past experience

I don't know Terri, but in my experence , the only time BRAT has not returned a dog to a breeder is when its a known puppymiller.
I am assuming Terri doesn't fall into this catagory.
I know some of the larger breeders do use kennels…

As I said that I would before, I left Terri a message and email the person with the dog with Terri's infomation for them to contact Terri directly since there was no phone number. Terri doesn't do email very often.

Just knowing folks who get rid of b's without contacting the breeders, mostly, they don't bother …or say they did when they didn't.
That is why I asked.
I can't tell you how many times I have found out who the breeder is, and asked the sellers if they contacted the breeder and they say "yes, but they wouldn't help".
Course, when I call the breeder, they had no idea their dog was at risk.
I have heard back from the people that have this bitch.. she is not Bushbabies…. so hopefully BRAT will contact them....
I should qualify that, at least not close up…. as in Parents or Grandparents...

They don't remember the name but it was two guys from the city who have since split up… so I am going to guess a BYB... that maybe had a "opps" breeding... and sold the pups
If you can get the full pedigree information, you might want to contact Sally Wallis who maintains the pedigree website. In her personal database she does collect breeder information when available. So she may have at least the names of the breeders and may be able to give them to you.
