If you can find someone with a grinder, I think the bone tag could easily be modified to look like a football! Just grind the bone lobes down to a smooth arc, and voila - Football!
The petsmart in my area has brass tags that you buy and an in-store engraving machine. But the stainless steel may be a better option since the brass has been dented (and flared) a little on the side.

I actually found a site that does engraved logos on their tags & so I could get a football engraved on the one side with his info on it. We'll see though!
