New Africans at Basenji Park

Let me introduce these new African Imports…..Angali (red female) and Asuma(Tri Male). These are from the Democratic Republic of Congo in the area of a city named Ngilima, in the Dungu village......they came from the Zande tribe.
They have just arrived, my wife and Son picked them up (with the help of..... JYS1101..... thank You:) ) in NYC last evening.

The folks that went to Africa to get these and some other pups, spent eight days in the jungle.....they paid $6.00 for each.

Greetings from Basenji Park

The tri is amazing. They look so much like regular basenji's. I guess breeders here have not really changed the breed that much.

So what are they like?

Are they just like your others?

Are they people friendly

OMG!! That is soooo cool! How great that you guys can be involved! They are lovely! How are they adjusting?

Pretty good, walk and go potty on lead. About ready to fall asleep…...I'll take more pics.;)

oh wow what beautiful doggies! I love the 1st pic of the r/w

BBoy…that is awesome!!!!!! They are soooo cute! I love that their first experience in the US is at Basenji Park. Wicked! 😃 😃 😃 😃

Bboy - I'm glad they're at your house, I wouldn't let them leave! Great looking dogs:D

I had the pleasure of escorting the Basenji Park Staff to pick up these precious little pups 😃 I have to tell you they were AMAZING…I almost didn't want to let them go home. DH was disappointed he didn't get to meet the pups 😞 but it was late & the staff had to get back to Basenji Park for closing 😃

The r/w female was SO adorable & licked everyone who carried her & then snuggled in your arms for some shut eye.

The Tri boy has the most beautiful velvet coat I've ever seen on a B  he was too precious!! And a sleepy boy too 🙂

The Wife and I can't thank You enough.

They are so cute!!!

How old are they?

Wow I love the tri's doberman like markings.

What an honor to get these dogs, a wonderful thing you guys did for them.

It's going to be hard to say goodbye!

We do look at it as an honor to be able to have them here.

He has the white on all fours and his tail, he's smaller than the female,

It is going to be hard…...they're pretty darn cute.:D

Oh my god - more basenji puppies – I'm melting :p
I just love that r/w one - ooh.

That is so cool! Do you know how many pups they were able to bring back total?
