My new Basenji mix!

    We welcomed Jasper into our family last month and everyday he has brought joy to our lives! We are not sure what he is…all suggestions welcome! But he acts just like a basenji whether its yodeling, howling, or acting like a cat on the window sill! He is a silly boy! He is a rescue and has some aggression problems but we are working on them :)

    I can see why someone would think there was Terrier, but I'm not so sure about Basenji. (The only way to know for sure is to do a DNA test.) Both of your dogs look very similar. What breed, or mix, is the older one?

    She was only 16 pounds when I took her to the vet last but I know she is more now. She was also malnourished when we got her, she is gaining weight but she is still skinny. I made a photo album with some better pictures. I'll add more as I'm still searching through pictures on my camera to find some side views. But right now I'm off cause she is complaining that I'm ignoring her and not throwing the ball! :)

    She is sooooo cute!! At first I thought "how fuzzy!!!"….and the more I looked the more I thought this looks like a punk-rocker Basenji:D A little hair gel and a little vegetable dye with a spike collar and spike ankle bracelets......what a great halloween costume:) Adorable dog. Thanks for sharing.
