Sometimes he does get so close that you hear a little "sizzle" sound and he shakes his head, backs up,and moves right back in again.
Like I said… weird dogs. :D

Mine love to get close to the fireplace (with glass) and I sometimes will hear a little yelp and see one of them jump back before reconfiguring.

they are soooo cute and yes slightly weird, ive never seen a dog lie that cloose to the stove. my dog fell asleep on my laptop keyboard the other day i gess it was warm… :D

It's the posture that kills me. Seems that'd be awfully uncomfortable, but he does it all the time.
A few times he has fallen asleep there and fallen over. Goofy boy!

The picture of them lying next to the stove is hilarious! My Jamie lives by our gas logs during the winter!! Funny, funny dogs!
