Squiggy has had this wierd earball…let me explain, because that is what I call it.
He had a big (about the size of the big shooter marbles) squishy earball show up one day. It was located on the front of the ear at the base on the outside where the ear meets the head. On the cheek side, not the top of the head side. Got it, hard to explain.
The vet was stumped and said it looked like a hemotoma and to give it a week or so and it should go down and go away. 2 weeks later it was still there and same size. He prescribed prednisone and it went away within a few days.
3 months later it pops back up again. Prednisone took care of it.
I had the vet run some tests, but I am drawing a blank on them now. They were normal and had no pathogens.
It has been about 3 months since then and it has come back. But now it is different. It is the size of a pea and hard. There is a much smaller one on the inside lower on the face. It now has like a little scab on it.
The Squig-man goes in on Friday for his vaccinations and an "earball" check up.
Has anyone had anything similar?
