    @JENGOSMonkey I WAS THERE FOR '89! I was a kid, but I remember the water coming out of the swimming pool in huge waves and everything falling from the shelves! I was actually born in San Jose, but moved around a lot later LOL I hear the wildfires are more of a concern for you guys now? That's scarier than quakes for me...

    @kembe - Very True Kembe, here is a link on looking for a responsible breeder. https://bconc.org/finding-breeders-red-flags There are many scammers out there, don't fall for one.. or a person that is not a responsible breeder.

    I have family arriving from the UK now on that day and I have to pick them up from the airport as hubby is away otherwise I would go and watch for a change.

    I am very interested, but need to wait to get the extra money built up before I start. I want to begin with the non-aggressive, mild but colorful fish. I have been told tropicals are more difficult than fresh waters… What is your suggestion? I am trying to learn ahead of time so when I do start, I won't be in over my head!:eek:

    Cant wait to see whats gonna be new… thanks again for such a wonderful place to be a part of... I look foward to my time here and enjoy reading whats going on with who... and whos doing what !!! Our babies are important in our lives... cant think of a better place than Basenji Forums to share these things.
