@elbrant That's good to know! We are in Kansas where pollen and allergies are rampant lol, I am wondering more if that's what it is since the build-up isn't increasing very quickly at all. Seems to be worse after we spend a while outside.

Nope.... not in my opinion....not atypical. especially if these pups come for BYB or Millers.... That said, Giardia is not uncommon nor is a pup with a UTI.... In regards to Giardia, I wonder if these pups shown symptoms when still with the breeder?

@chewy1 Seeka is bathed regularly due her swimming and rolling in sand at the park daily, besides she sleeps in the bed with us. We put 1 tsp of Optima 365 in her dry food daily. Vet recommended. Takes care of her dandruff.

I live in Arazona, US, now it is too cold for me but Basenji feels good enough to bear such cold, so this is fine to Basenji below normal temperature.

I like the FidoFleece coats - they velcro along the TOP there is a hole to hook the leash on the collar. All you have to do is set your basenji down on the 2 leg openings - pull both sides up and voila. I also have on that is fleese on one side and raincoat on the other side. I am lucky to have a large fenced area in my back yard so I don't have to worry about salt - I would rather walk myself but - the salt is just too daunting. If I want to walk - I'll find a snowmobile trail to walk on I can be pretty certain that there is not much salt there.
