    Go to the Basenji Club of America's web site (BCOA). To find Basenji breeders go to the Breeder Directory. Breeders are listed by state.     @hawk8875 - Those listing with AKC are paid advertisements. There is no requirement on who can pay to be listed. Go to www.basenji.org and then to find breeder and you can search by state. Breeders listed on there are members of the Basenji Club of America.

    I think Tanza is spot on. Not sure where you are, but the Basenji Nationals are in Tucson in November. Assuming it's possible, I can't think of a better way to find a good breeder than to attend.

    Also, contact Pam Hamilton with Camp Basenji. She is in Florida, but has several lovely females. Most of her rescues are not posted because people get fixed on a dog's photo and often it isn't the right dog. She is superb as helping get a good match. http://www.campbasenji.org/

    Monica, Another good place to start might be BCOSW. There is a pretty extensive breeder directory there, and if those breeders do not have puppy plans, they can probably direct you to others who do.
