    Yes, they are as I got my current Basenji there last year. They just don't get around to updating their site because they're so busy. You have to email Karen Jones and she will let you know what's current.

    Getting the gov. involved won't do anything but hurt the legal folks. Just look at byb who go over the "legal" limit for ownership of animals in their care, or horders, who don't do even legal mandated care… Its going to take education and spay/neuter of any animal who leaves a shelter. It's going to take years...I only hope I see it in my lifetime.

    Your very welcome…I hope you have a good time. The thing to remember, if you get a jerk who comes by, is to be polite and just listen to them. They really don't care what you have to say, just want to vent and see a reaction. I always smile, say, oh, I am so sorry you had that happen to you...and then just get busy talking to someone else. BUT mostly its just good fun with very nice folks who want to talk dogs.

    That's what I was guessing, Jannie, but I didn't remember your name, just Gracie and Roxie's. Must be all those years of being known as "Gena's (or one of the other kids') Mom" and knowing other mothers the same way. :p I'll let you know as soon as I talk to Laura today what's up.     hi sharon. I feel like I know you. I have read your stuff on Brat. I am glad that you are getting the word out on Brat. Mabel, My B was adopted from there. I cannot say enough good things about people in that organization. Actually I'm in that organization. We are good people. Mabel's foster was very helpful with helping me understand her behavior. I think a lot of it was due to fact Mabel is an alpha female. Well just thought I would say hi bubsgram94
