    Where are you located? I have several breeders to recommend in the midwest! In the meantime, checking the BCOA list as Tanza suggested is a good place to start. Be warned though, puppies are being born this time of the year and many breeders have waiting lists!

    It isn't that expensive to ship... and I suggest if you can't save up .... what happens if the puppy gets hurt or sick? Can you really handle the vet bills? There are, however, breeders in Texas and Oklahoma. The problem is that many breeders have waiting list for puppies, so you may well have to wait a year if you only want a female and a young puppy. If you'll take older, many breeders may have 6 mos or older that didn't work out for their showing or breeding program... or puppies that were placed and didn't work out.     It isn't that they are necessarily outside dogs…they are just incredibly "barky" dogs so they get sent outside a lot. Any and ever time anyone is out in our backyard, their dog barks and barks and bark for-ev-er until we go inside. Those dogs may drive us crazy, but they are still animals and we still feel bad for them :(

    I just posted two pics of Sakari in 'My baby Bisa' photo album. Will give you an idea of the JRT / B mix she was … She was a terrific dog BUT she DID shed like crazy!!!!
