    I remember when I was a child there were two Great Danes at a store we used to frequent in summer. They were very patient with children, even the ones that tried to ride on their backs! I am sure a Basenji pup is less objectionable than a toddler. :)

    Does anyone know of a website that shows you how to trim a b's tail? Or, should that be left to doggie grooming 'experts'? Kipawa's tail is lovely now, but any bushier and I think I might want to tidy it up.

    Booger & I play hide & seek. I throw a toy; he goes to fetch it while I hide. He drops the toy where I threw it from & then goes to look for me. Nothing can distract him until he has found me, but we don't play as much as we once did because he got too smart for the limited number of hiding places my little brain can think up.

    I love my basenji heater in bed with me…. especially since it has gotten down to 29 degrees here the past couple of nights!! We finally had to turn the heat on too!!

    Mine played like I described when they were 2 or 3 years old. When they got up around 7 or 8 they become less interested in playing. Chasing squirrels or anything that runs is always an interest.
