We are thinking Spike might be a Basenji Terrier mix. He definitely has the basenji personality and the bark. We love him no matter what he is but we are curious.
I don’t think you are, dang it and I want ALL the dogs to be Basenji! Still… great looking pup. Get a DNA test. If that pup has ANY Basenji in it, I’ll send you a beer. 👊😁👍
We also have a possible Basenji/Terrier (Yorkie) mix. I've had some doubts, but seeing this picture of Rosie, I can't help but see my Rebel. Such a great looking dog, and if she's anything like our girl, you're in for a treat!
She is beautiful! All dogs are lovely but basenjis do tend to grab those heart strings. I hope you can find some answers, it’s so hard to miss them so much!
She was only 16 pounds when I took her to the vet last but I know she is more now. She was also malnourished when we got her, she is gaining weight but she is still skinny.
I made a photo album with some better pictures. I'll add more as I'm still searching through pictures on my camera to find some side views.
But right now I'm off cause she is complaining that I'm ignoring her and not throwing the ball! :)
