Today we walked in Monnickendam, The Netherlands with Lela, Binti, Lula, Yoka, Simba, Chamouk, Rex, Jiba and Romanian adoptee Bella.
Lela, Yoka and Simba are litter mates, Binti their older sister.

You are so lucky to have a pack of basenji to get together for walks. They must really enjoy each others company.

@Shaye's: I love the poem on the rock as well. Lucky little Kipawa - lucky mom too. At this particular beach, there are quite a few rocks inscribed with various partial poems or eloquent thoughts. People can also pay for a bench as a tribute to a loved one. The beach has a wonderful feeling to it, a truly welcoming area for dogs and humans alike.

@Rita: Those pictures are great love them. What is that old saying what's mine is mine and what's your's is mine. Your pictures always look like a person could just reach in and touch them almost like being there. Hailey is just so pretty. Great pics… I know it?s going to be VERY hard to give her up after a few months.. When we only had Buana, we had a Ibizan sister of Hailey for a few months(she had to go to Australia when she was old enough to fly) and oooow I'm sure she has forgotten us a long time ago but we still miss her every day!
