Basenji in Amsterdam , EU

Basenjis For Sale or Wanted
  • Hey guys, I recently moved to Amsterdam and unfortunately or fortunately for him(nouno) I left Nouno back in sunny and warm Cyprus. I am lucky that I have 4 dog lovers as housemates who apparently got excited when I told them that I want to get a Basenji here in the Netherlands. My plan is to take it back to Cyprus when I leave Amsterdam in a year or so, as Nouno would love some company of another Basenji!
If anybody has any information for our beloved breed please let me know! Cheers!

P.S. Don't worry Nouno is left in father's great 'hands'! (my father is not working and Nouno is spicing up his life)

@tanza said in House of the Basenji: @WingedLion - Would that be the breeder in PR? I suggest you read my post on the post by the person looking for a puppy in So. California I have read your post and replied to it.

Ignore the above from jurytan who is obviously a spammer. This is the UK breed club list of breeders: http://www.basenjiclubofgb.org/breeders.php Another club listing: http://www.northernbasenji.org.uk/

Mindy is a beautiful Basenji and we are very interested in her if she is still available? She would be a perfect companion for our basenji Travis. Many thanks, Birkin family.

If funds are an issues, you can do what I used to do before BRAT came along. Find out the vet of the family your placing him with, have the family pay you for your expenses and then take the dog to the new familys vet for the surgery to be fixed. Drop the dog off the day of the surgery and then new owners pu the dog. They get to pay the bill. That makes sure the dog is fixed, sets up a new vet record for the new dog in the family, and you don't have to pay anything out of pocket. Mostly, you know the surgery WILL BE DONE. Thanks for making sure he is fixed before rehoming. That is so important.
