URGENT in Gainesville, FL

Basenji Rescue
  • CROSS POST

    Good afternoon,
Daisy is a young, healthy, already spayed and heartworm negative dog that has been placed on Tuesday?s euthanasia list due to our space issues and the length of time she has been with us. Daisy has been here since August. Our volunteers have this to say about Daisy: ? Daisy likes to explore the yard and sniff around, but after a bit she comes up to hang out with humans. She has a calm energy level and is really quite sweet.?
If anyone can save Daisy please let us know before 8:30 am Tuesday morning.
Thank you for all you do in saving the lives of animals.

I sure wish someone could go down and look at these dogs. A couple of them sure look like the could be poorly bred b's. IMO.

Here is a breeders webpage and it has a video on it. Some of their dogs look so much like Bs but with the docked tail. http://www.skippincjranch.com/home.cfm Jennifer

Hard to say whether the breeder will take her back. I'll ask. The owner isn't willing to "give" Tiara to anyone, she wants the adoption fee. Tiara belongs in a home without other dogs or children, lots of one-on-one training, long walks for exercise, high quality/low-fat/low-carb food, and a stress free environment. It is disturbing that a six-year-old Basenji is looking at yet another home. I should stop looking at petfinder.
