Harley was lost 6/10 in Trophy Club TX which is located approximately 9 miles NW of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Airport.-Grapevine TX. He was wearing a blue collar with tags. It does not state if he is neutered.

Can someone in the area get a search group together to look for this boy?

update:

Ginny (Basenji lost in Dennis, MA) has been sighted several times, including by Cheryl herself, and is hanging around a specific area. A humane trap will be set up tomorrow, and her new dog-brother Tom is on the job laying down a scent trail for her. Keep the good vibes coming at them all, and keep your fingers crossed for good news in the very near future!

i want to get it but problem is my family will not accept it because i have already a basenji…... which name is mike i like my little cool boy.... he is 5 year old. and my all family members like it.... that's why they will not accept other basenji.

I am so happy you got Raven home. You now can be a good ambassador to the "don't use invisible fencing" brigade. Call any animal shelter and find out how many dogs they get in with collars on. Once a dog bolts through the pain, they won't risk it coming back in. Many end up dead. There are lots of options if you can't have "real" fencing, but often the only choice is simply go out with your dog, on a lead or line. Apt folks survive doing it. Oh wait, and so do the dogs.

Please post pics and yes, PLEASE tell us how you got your pet back!

In the old book/movie, "Goodbye My Lady", the basenji was lost and living in a swamp when rescued by the boy. Dexter was re-enacting that role, perhaps!
