It is difficult to give up a dog one has had for over 4 years! I lived in an apt. in Houston and I know that unless you walk the dog frequently or have it go to doggy day care and dog parks, the dog will not get enough exercise.

Scooter is a 3-month old special needs Jack Russell/Basenji mix. He was born with a birth defect where his patellas (knees) are backwards and fused. He has no use of his back legs. He is full of life and has a HUGE heart! He should be named Flier as he flies around the house more than scoots! He gets along with other dogs, cats and loves children. He needs a furever home with someone who has the time and patience to handle his special needs. He has had his shots, an ortho consult and will be neutered. he is also being fitted for a wheelchair.
