    Endeavor, you represent the dangerous part of CM. People without a lot of experience don't see with the same eyes. He is actually borderline abusive, imho. He is dangerous to the dogs and to the audience. His techniques will eventually get someone killed and certainly dogs euthanized.     I definitely thing all trainers are different, this one we have now is not doing some things we learned when I took Otis for OB training, but then again he is doing some things we didn't do then. We have one more class/graduation next sunday then we are off to intermediate as well.

    @snorky998: Congratulations!! Has Tillo been showing lately? How long before Lycia goes home? I'm sure Tillo's going to miss her. Thanks you all for the congrats :) Tillo hasn't been shown lately, he just turned 27 months so he can now win his last CAC for his Dutch Championship.. His first big show is at the end of June :) Lycia will leave the second or third week of April. Tillo will probably miss her very much and hate me for it :(

    some do, some don't. I was thinking about a better thing but a thin collar, because there still is a risk that the dog gets hurt for some stupid reason. I have bought some agility lead thing, as a retriever lead. But this does not work that well, if the dog is tackling the prey, so a slip lead would be a good alternative…. I think I can have someone make one or two for me, so maybe we have a new "top seller" soon. Specially Denmark is not very used to Coursing events. We do not have regular track racing under FCI regulations as here in DK you can bet on sighthound races. Coursing is quite new here and on August 8th the first national Championship is held. Next Year we hope to participate with the B's in a own coursing section, hopefully... Regards, Esther

    @Tayda_Lenny: Lenny actually escaped from a fenced yard yesteday for the first time… scared me to DEATH. Once when I first got him ( he was about 15 weeks old) we were outside w/ leashes and the clip on his collar snapped and he was free. Instead of running after him, I got his attention (miracle) and ran as fast as I could away from him and into the house. He thought I was playing and chased after me. I did the same thing yesterday. He was out of the fence and running around sniffing things and when I got his attention (from about 100 feet away, I did a sort of "human play bow" and then sprinted into the yard. Luckily he chased after me. (Beat me into the yard too... the little monster) . WHEW! and then my heart started beating again. Anyway, just wanted to share that technique. It has worked for me the 2 times I've needed it. Get their attention, and then run in the other direction... I did the same thing with Ruby, the one time she got free when I was walking her and I fell. Worked like a charm :D. It always feels good to outsmart her :D.
