  • Yep, the last collars look bigger than his head  but still they are very stylish.

  • Hihihi! When he has a collar on form the last series, he can put his head on it when he?s tired…. hahaha

On my "User CP - Contact Information" you will find the link to my homepage. Then go to "Pictures" - "Collars".
Sending them to Sweden won't be a problem as they are shipping their collars and leashes worldwide:)

  • You got your collars from Around the Hounds in Canada didn't you? I recognize the first blue one and the one with the bees. That is where my b kids get their collars from as well…the owner Char is super nice and helpful. Tough to pick which ones to get as there are so many nice ones.

Right ! Char is indeed a wonderful person ! These collars are very well manufactured, very nice and very strong. And the price is reasonable as they are all handmade …:)

Thank you all for your kind words! It almost brings me to tears of joy right now to see her laying in the grass by the pool on a beautiful sunny day in California and knowing that shes gonna be OK. Of course I wish I could have done more for more dogs in her village (I DID help bring 2 of her puppies to the US though, they have arrived safely in Colorado today!) Segbwema, I know what you mean about the dogs having to fend for themselves… The village where I lived for 8 months didn't have any running water or electricity... so it definitely put things in perspective! Right now Laliti and I are BOTH feeling like we've won the lottery : ) Patty, yeah I hope Laliti doesnt take the word "mutt" the wrong way : ) I think I'd pin her to look a lot like a Basenji/Black lab mix.... (obviously shes not mixed with any lab, but just for the sake of describing her appearance) because she has a diluted Basenji appearance with a larger body and a thicker coat like a black lab....

Yeah, especially the bed. I wake up clinging to a corner of the blanket and they are underneath with their toes in my back!

The first time I brought Shaye to her vet, he had never seen one before - he told me he was delighted to be able to get to know another breed, and has since gone online and has talked with other vets and researched everywhere he could think of so he could find out if there were any special things to be aware of in treating her. Most vets will go out of their way to school themselves if your dog is one he/she has not treated, I think. He is now wonderful with Shaye and with Gemma too, and I'm glad I let her be the "guinea pig."

So - if AJs Human brought it up, again… ;) Both of my dogs have Reveille Boutonniere as great-grandfather, too. Far related, but related :D But I think he isn't that rare in pedigrees…
