Caught Shango with a big smile on his face this afternoon. It was after our fun walk to the park and it made me want to see more of those basenji smiles!
I always think my dogs look like they smile as they run. I especially love this one of Rio. For those who get The Basenji magazine it will be familiar since it is in the most recent issue.

Not much of a surprise when you think about it ! Basenjis in the Northern Hemisphere come in to season through September/October/November and whelp their litters November/December/January. A great many litters' arrivals cause the turkey to be put back in the oven on Christmas Day while the puppies are delivered !
Decrease the size of the photo and you will be able to show Iris to all of us.

lillysmom1- we had contacted Keath a few months ago about fostering but never heard a response. Glad to know all is well. Beautiful dogs on that site, as well as your own. We are in Columbus OH but always willing to help if needed.
We got Killian from a breeder in Ohio–-Jim Edgerton. That's where he had gotten our previous male basenji. We took Logan and Jasmine to his place and looked at several 1 year olds and a puppies and Jasmine eliminated the others and we agreed with her pick.
