Thanks for the responses. I will post pictures as soon as I can figure it out!! In the mean time there is a pic on line of Kate and her litter mates….. http://www.basenji.org/african/ImbaTena.htm Scroll half way down the page. She's the one on the far left more concerned with sleeping than the foto op. The black on her muzzle is gone now but if you look at the 2 pups on the right with their tails uncurled, there is a black spot/stripe inside their curl. Kate has that. Other than that, she's all r/w and takes after her dad in that "he's not very brave" and the diplomatic comment concerning his big feet! She's a big foot for sure!! I just looked at her grandmum's picture again, it's been a while, and that's our Katie from another time. Looks just like her

@lvoss: Instead of a teeter or in addition to, you may want to build a wobble board. These are great for teaching pups to get used to surfaces that move and they can move in any direction and the board moves. I used this with my last litter and they loved it and my girl Sophie has been absolutely fearless about all the agility equipment. http://www.mfrye.com/agilityeq/buja.html Great suggestion and wonderful Idea. Its probably a better choice than I would have made for him. Also thanks for the link on how to build one. Jason

Luzambo, I too had one pass last March. After that I was left with one and said once he passed, I was going to be done with dogs – too much of work and emotional strain. Yep, I was going to be free to... well, to do something. Then I found a little girl related to Brie just 2 weeks later and 6 months later I have yet another. Yes, they're a lot of work at times, but so is most everything in life. I love having them around and the house would be often boring otherwise. I'm sure Pharaoh and my Brie are hanging out in their private club looking down on us saying "what are you guys doing down there?" And with a signature like yours, I don't think you'll be waiting long. Welcome to the forum!
