Bring on the snow!

  • Hello,
After posting in the "Let it snow" thread in Off-topic, I decided to post some snow pictures from last night. We live in Kiel, Wisconsin, and recently got two big snowfalls, 16 and 14 inches respectively. As you can imagine, my basenji Tosca is Real thrilled about this:rolleyes:

Anyway, after snowblowing out last night I just had to take some pics I don't know if I have ever seen the snow this high before! You can see one of me holding Tosca, the big snowbanks, and her playing in the massive snow piles. I know its mean but we couldn't resist throwing her on top of the big snow pile..she did have fun with it though…if only for a few minutes before we had to bring her in from the cold! Enjoy!!

Oh, and now they are predicting up to another 12 inches Sunday...we'll see what happens!

Sweet…. My basenji doesn't really like snow... But he knows the neighborhood. Good to see a Basenji enjoying the snow. Cheers

@Chealsie508: Would you expect anything less from princess Ava?? Lmao I'm lucky that Oakley doesn't throw a tantrum, he looks pathetic the first few times every year I out them on but after that he gets it, how much does Ava weigh? LOL– Ava always has an opinion, and she always makes it known! :) She weighs 22 lbs, and it's a struggle keeping her there. She looooves food. All kinds of food. She's the most food-motivated dog I've ever had. Luckily, it's usually not that cold here. Finicky Miss Ava can go without boots, but Oakley, Zest! and other cold climate Bs need them a lot more-- especially this winter!

@myran: Did it happen when his family jewels were examined som Basenji boy´s can be very protective about them.Anyway it doesn´t have to mean anything can be just part of his growing process better luck next time. You know you have a sweet boy who loves the world so do not wreck your head about it. I don't know exactly.. but he had no problems with the judge looking at his teeth. And yes.. I know he's the sweetest in the world.. so I'm not worried about him randomly biting people ;) I just hope he won't learn from this experience that it is ok to growl/snap and will repeat it again…. We will definitly try to put some more energy in ring training again.
