My cat, who I call Big Cat, his real name is Francois. He used to weigh 23lbs, not fat just big. Any way I've had him for 15 years. He's the best cat and he never swipes or hisses at the Bs. This cat is a real trooper!
Awww - Looks like your B and Francois live in sweet harmony. Big Cat is really cute, love his soft grayish color. What is your B's name? I can't remember if you had made mention. I remember Ringo.
Hi Lori,
I live in Redwood City (mid peninsula). There's an off leash area (Pulgas Ridge) in San Carlos I take Buddy to that's up in the hills near Interstae 280. It's big and the dogs have a great time.

The off leash area.
A meet up at Fort Funston would be a lot of fun.

I loved this story when I saw it. It reminded me of this white cat that used to live near us years ago. We would buy catnip toys (one particular one) for our cats, and this cat would come into our place and take them. We were forever replacing them. By chance we finally met the owner and found out that white cat (we called him Thiefy) had a huge stash of these toys and that the lady never knew where he got them from.
@Kipawa:
Sounds like you will be really busy later this summer/fall. I have seen pictures of the boats that people live on in the Netherlands - it looks like quite an interesting lifestyle. I assume your basenjis are fine with it. Good luck in finding your special cat.
:) There are two types of living on a boat :)
People that live on a boat that can't sail anymore. (they put it in a harbor and live there)
We live on a ship (we can't call it a boat :cool: ) that sails every day.
We load our ship with material (like corn or coils of steel) and sail untill we are at the place to unload.
We load the same weight that 40/45 trucks can load ;)
It's a weird lifestyle, every night we walk the doggies on a different spot and every day they meet new dogs and people.. And we are always at home with them.. that's a great thing!
It takes around 30 minutes in real time to clean it. I guess it flushes with real water and then has a dryer to dry the cat litter. Hahaha!
We have tried every self cleaning litter box on the market…but this one just looks to darn complicated.
