Perry is not fond of water. He is also not stupid. So our first Stand Up Paddleboard session went very well!

What lovely clear water you have there and it is so calm. Did he manage to stay dry getting on and off? What a brave Basenji taking on all that water.

I picked a calm day, with an offshore breeze. The lake can get pretty rough! He did stay dry. I started off with the idea that if he chooses to go swimming, it is his decision. He was good, so I picked him up and put him ashore nice and dry. Setting the stage for the next experience. He would not be so happy if he was dunked, as he abhors swimming! (he did whine a bit, but not much).
