I've already replaced one set of bedsheets due to the digging. I swear he does it as soon as I leave the room, I'll hear him start digging, then he gets demoted to the couch (I guess this isn't really punishment…).

Oakley is 15 months and I use a martingale collar but no matter howuch training he still seems to "cart pull" as I call it, his head goes down and he digs in to pull, I'm looking into getting a hurtta harness but don't know which is better for pulling- the Y harness or the regular one I see Chaffie wearing

@McCannClan: What an adorable girl! I love those wrinkles and she actually poses for you. I cannot get my new girl to sit still long enough for that… I think Faro is a bad influence on her. Your Athena is beautiful. Hoping you have many fun filled loving days with her. Thank you! It amazes me. She always sits still or stops moving when I'm pointing my camera/phone at her. It's like she knows. Every day since I got her has been fun! @DebraDownSouth: What a cutie! In a couple, it shows the white of one eye and I was going to ask if she has a "lazy eye", but then I looked back at the baby ones… nope, just your camera angle and her looking at you a bit from side. Cara has an absolute lazy eye, btw.. so you know why I was looking! I envy you that cute baby stage. OMG wouldn't it be wonderful if you could keep them like that. Give that wrinkly face a kiss for me. Sigh. Thank you! At times it does look like she has a slight lazy eye but mostly it's the camera angle and the way her head is. Don't worry, I give her many hugs & kisses everyday! this is my favorite picture I've taken thus far. [image: IMG00470-20110329-2131.jpg]

@Mantis: How old is she? Tell us more about her. She is so cute! When we got her (late Oct 2006) the vet thought she was 9-12 mos based on teeth. Over the months she has been getting more spots on her belly. Dont know if that gives any sign of age or not. She seems smaller than some of the Basenjis on this site. She is very thin and muscular. Is there a difference between sizes Male vs females? Could she have been a runt?

@JoeyQ: WOW! Willy is sooooooooooooooooo adorable! How is his coat so shiny?! (new dog owner here) My Joey, red and white, will be a year on Monday!!! We have had him 1 1/2 months and I already want another… B&W!! I think Bs are the best breed! I think some of it may be the camera shot itself or the editing. I do know my wife uses a shampoo before shows that is for black dogs…...they also have for reds as well. Good feed will also improve coat quality, we feed Royal Canan dog food. We are all so very lucky to have such a wonderful and unique breed of dog that IMO is like no other......addicting too!:)
